I am a novice gardener. As I pull the weeds from my garden, I imagine myself weeding negative characteristics from my heart and soul. As I push a seed into the soil, I imagine myself seeding the soil of my soul with virtue and good deeds. I am learning to breathe deeply and find joy in the small spaces of life. I enjoy walking, listening to peaceful music, listening, engaging in deep heartfelt conversation. I also enjoy biking and hiking and being outdoors (without mosquitoes ) I love poetry, artistic expression--would love to take calligraphy--and other word crafts. My deep desire is to learn the Quran in its revealed language. My life has been a series of pursuits in search of knowledge.
