If you have a past (divorced, widowed, a child) then that is the past, you had no control over it and it doesn't change who you are as a person, and I will be honored with your consideration. One thing I will say about myself is that whomever ALLAH had chosen for me I promise to love her, care for her and treat her in the best possible manner I can. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (RA) that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives."(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1977)
