Deen is the center of my life, alhamdulillah. It's not something I do-it's how I understand everything else. Allah is the only anchor we truly have in this dunya, and that belief shapes how I move through my days. My faith is something I live out actively. Every Sunday I'm at the masjid for halaqat, and one of the things I love most is preparing circles for the younger children-watching different age groups come together to learn is genuinely a highlight of my week. I'm on a journey to memorize the Quran. I've started and stopped before-life happens but it keeps pulling me back. There's a Surah I always return to that has been profound in my life, and that pull is why I'm committed to the journey this time, inshaAllah. I've been blessed to perform Umrah twice, and every time, I don't want to leave. I carry a picture in my head of one day going to study my deen there, even just for a year-sitting among knowledgeable women, seeking knowledge. I make so much dua that Allah enables me to fulfill that. Outside of this, I work in healthcare and I'm currently studying toward functional diagnostic medicine-caring for others, in every sense, is close to my heart. I love reading and spending time with family I'd love to be present for my family from the get go, so taking time off to raise my children .
