Someone who is learning islam and try to be a better muslim and have a mindset in building a family in islamic teaching is a plus. When someone is trying to be a better muslim all of good characters must be in his personality (in my personal opinion) from lifestyle, attitude, way of life, etc and other most important thing is communication. Actually, I prefer live in muslim majority country so that I can practice islam more without any worries. However, the man is the imaam so I accept whatever the decision is.
