My religion is very important to me, but I sometimes find myself at odds with the general community or the mindset espoused by some religious leaders - What does Islam mean to you? How does it (or does it) shape your life, worldview, relationship with God, relationship with other people and other religions, etc.? - I’m quiet at first, but if comfortable, I will talk your ear off. - I would love to hear about your interests. The more interests, knowledge, etc., that you share the better (and I’ll want to do the same!). We can talk each others’ ears off (and hopefully also enjoy comfortable silences together)! - I’m not looking to change you, and not wanting someone to try to change me to fit what they need in a partner (whether in terms of religious outlook, values, lifestyle, etc.). Let’s see first of all if we’re a match in the big things, the non-negotiables, and save compromise for smaller things that are more negotiable for us - I have opinions about some things!
