I grew up without strong role models around me and took on responsibility as the main provider for my family from a young age, without anyone asking me to. That experience shaped how I see life, not waiting for someone to lead me, but knowing how to carry weight quietly, day by day, for the people who depend on me. Outside of work, I volunteer at a Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPA) helping manage its operations and funding so more kids can keep learning to read the Qur'an. When I in college, was active in my student association's teaching and social programs. I have this small habit of memorizing landmarks instead of relying on maps, maybe that says something about how I navigate life in general: paying attention, not just following the fastest route. My favorite ayah is from Surah Al-Insyirah: "فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا. إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا" "So verily, with hardship comes ease. Verily, with hardship comes ease." (QS. Al-Insyirah: 5–6) I didn't just pick this ayah randomly.. ¹ it's something I found through my own journey, through the hard seasons I've had to carry on my own. This verse has become a real source of strength for me, a reminder that ease always follows hardship, even when it doesn't feel that way yet.
