I am mild mannered with simple tastes and modest expectations. I value honesty in actions and emotions. I firmly believe a relationship is between equals, cemented by kindness and mutual respect. I've learnt relationship thrives on communication. No matter what the situation, communication should always be open and I am fully for it. I’ve been told I’m a good listener. I’m open minded, honest in my daily interactions and thoroughly grounded about my beliefs and origins. I know the importance my partner will hold and I'm willing to be the confidant, friend and husband in the most important relationship of my life. As the holy Prophet PBUH said, the best among you is the one who is the best towards his wife. I will strive to be a husband that pleases Allah SWT. I've been blessed to have visited the Haramain and Alhamdulillah, I have performed Umrah several times. I plan to embark on Haj InshaAllah with my partner to make it a journey of our lifetime. I consider family and friends as blessings from Allah SWT. Although I live alone, I try to make up by meeting and talking with my family as much as possible. With friends too, I'm blessed to have many friends that I enjoy spending time with. I have lived in many countries on two continents (Asia and Europe) surrounded by different cultures. I love the global nature our lives are increasingly being faced with. I am open to relocation, InshaAllah. This aspect also feeds my passion of traveling. I travel far and frequently. Seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, fragrances and even consonants makes my deen stronger. The Almighty has made this world so diverse and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to travel and experience it. It gives me immense satisfaction and inspiration. We've been encouraged in our family to take up a game or sport of our choice very early. I used to play tennis professionally and these days I enjoy its pleasures whenever the weather permits. Swimming and kayaking are two other sports I try to regularly participate in. In many of my travels I try to find an accommodation close to a water body thereby giving me the luxury to indulge in them. I enjoy cooking and I’m an avid reader when it comes to history. I also read novels now and then, my favorite being 'The Fountainhead.' To summarise, I'd be at best a Muslim striving to be a Mumin P.S.: I'd like to learn Arabic InshaAllah and I also speak German for those interested.
