ALLAH says in the Qur’an: “الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ” “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because ALLAH has given one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means…” (Surah An-Nisa: 34) When a husband fulfills his role with justice and love, and the wife nurtures the home with wisdom and care, they reflect the Prophetic model of a harmonious family. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself said: “خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي” “The best of you are the best to their families, and I am the best to my family.” (Tirmidhi) May ALLAH bless our homes with love, understanding, and the fulfillment of our roles in a way that pleases Him.😊
