Salam! I'm reverted to Islam since I'm 22 years old. I grew up in a Christian family with low importance to the religion. However I always had a strong sense of Spirituality. Which led me to seek for the truth early on in my teenager years. I was mainly reading from philosophical books but I wasn't translated to any religion. Where I grew up, there was no cultural diversity so it wasn't until university that I had the chance to talk with Muslims. The lack of values and meaning throughout our daily lives that I felt all along during my childhood went to a stop by talking about Islam with those newly Muslim friends. Their behavior was something new to me. The level of their human qualities just got my attention and I wanted to know more. After 1 year of considering it, I reverted to Islam because too many signs were pointing towards it to be the truth. In life there is never certainty, but I felt I'd live better with myself by embracing Islam than not doing so. I work as a Web developer, but I studied in the health field for a while. First did a BSc. In psychology, than studied chiropractic and biochemistry but didn't have the spark until I tried coding. I have many hobbies. I quite enjoy reading books, mainly about science and spirituality. I also like to do sports, particularly ice hockey, golf, hiking and running. I'd myself as a complicated person that loves simple things (by simple I mean authentic). I don't have a taste for opulence and the most basic things can put a smile on my face. Isn't Islam all about humility?
