I am Ramazan. My origins are from Russia, and I came to Canada in 1999, when I was 10 years old. My birth name is Denis. I reverted to Islam in 2022. Originally I was striving to become a better Muslim, but things at the time were not going to well and I happened to stray from the path. The past year, I restarted my focus on bettering myself as a Muslim, and alhamdulillah, it has gone very well. Not an easy journey, but still, I try regardless. I work as a bus driver and have done so for the past 5 years. As you can imagine, this line of work is its' own jihad, and my experiences over the years have helped strengthen my belief in Islam following the things I have experienced and witnessed while on duty. My interests include keeping fit at the gym, cycling, hiking, being outdoors (a great stress relief from the stress of being in the urban concrete jungle), travelling any chance I get, watching interesting and deep documentaries, and even watching videos on the supernatural and paranormal (which I do believe in as I have experienced this firsthand). I enjoy spicy food, and I have a parrot cockatiel. I have always been a bird person throughout life.
