Salaaamsss!!😊 thanks for taking reading my profile (not sure how many people do?!). It’s hard to describe myself in just a few paragraphs so I’ll just note some key points to question that I often get asked. - Over 30 and never been married - My grandparents are from Afghanistan but they moved to Pakistan (Peshawar) and resided there meaning my parents can speak Urdu etc. Growing up as we only spoke Pashto at home, this is the only language (apart from English) that I learnt. - I was born in Ireland and moved to Manchester over 20 years ago so my accent is a mix between Irish/Mancunian which people find funny 😅 - I spent just under 6 years at uni doing various degrees and qualifications and alhamdulilah really grateful where I’ve ended up career wise 🙏 - I’m just a ‘normal’ Muslim who does the essentials like praying regularly, fasting, eating the right food and just being a good person 👍 like everyone Im striving to be better. Truthfully, I didn’t know what Milaad was and how important it was to people until I joined this app. I have no issues with people who celebrate it. - I have an opinion on most things and can strike up a convo about pretty much most topics 😊 - I’m not looking for someone with the same background as me.
