After my parents had passed away, I made the difficult decision this past Summer to leave my job as an Arabic teacher in Morocco, and came to this US to live full time and start a new life. Luckily, I have family here, too. My dear brother who made it possible for me and my sister to come live with him. At this time, I am going to school to improve my English to a professional level so I can start looking for a job I would enjoy. It is kind of odd to become a student again after being the teacher, but I am learning a lot and have already reached level 6 in ESOL. About me: I am a Muslim first, do my prayers five times a day. But I am also peaceful, kind-hearted and faithful, and fear Allah. I still believe in the good of people but aware that evil exists. I have never been married and no kids, but don’t mind if my future husband does. For I “raised” many students during my teaching years and prepared them for the road ahead. I grew up in a traditional family, with dad as a factory worker and mom was a stay-home mother, raising 7 kids. We did not have everything, but we were happy. I went to college and received a BA in Arabic and became a teacher for many years. I believe in doing good in the world and leaving good footprints by helping others when I can, and being aware that life is short, and kindness does not cost anything. I love nature and hiking and the ocean and travel, but I also love making a house feel like a home, and cooking what I learned from the Moroccan cuisine. I love being in the kitchen. When it comes to marriage’s search, because I was made aware of the games played on Marriage’s Apps, I enlisted my brother to help me find the right Muslim husband to continue life journey as a husband and wife in a Muslim household, never forgetting our thanks to Allah and doing good in society. I am a simple person, with a good heart. Of that I am sure. I am hoping to meet a good man, who believe in the bliss of a Muslim marriage and who is kind, honest and God-fearing. Someone who is truly a good person. Someone who has a sense of humor because laughter is healing but also someone responsible. Because I took the time to put too much of me on here, I am not likely to answer blank profile or profile with no pictures. For there is too much scamming on marriage apps, I was told. Also, I don’t plan on leaving the US, so not interested in profiles outside the US. Sorry. Be kind, and Allah will lead you to the right person. Good luck to all. Amen.

*** If you are more than 10 years younger than me do not contact me. If you do not live in the US, please do not contact me, I’m not traveling overseas to meet anyone. *** Things I know for sure: If someone wants to know you, they will make the effort to get to know you. If a man loves you, he won’t let you guess about it, you’ll know for sure because he’ll let everyone know how much he loves you…it won’t be something secret. If someone really cares for you, they’ll be there for you when you need them - not just want to be around when you are able to do something for them. If someone really loves and respects you, they would never allow others to disrespect you. If someone wants to be my husband, partner and significant other - they better want to talk about their plans, ideas, the world and be smart with a good sense of humor that isn’t cruel to others….and hate gossiping. If you enjoy and and have made a hobby of setting up your fellow Muslim brothers and sisters - or people in general - to fail and be humiliated DO NOT contact me because I promise you, by Allah, we will not get along. If you spend your time trying to make yourself a better person. Care about others and even do the bare minimum to make the lives of others better, hate gossiping bs, give a damn about all living things, have a great sense of humor that doesn’t require someone being hurt or humiliated in the process then we would probably be very good friends in the least. Someone with a sarcastic sense of humor and sharp wit will win me over…and if you love to read, love poetry, love travel and sharing thoughts and ideas, have a mindset that oppression of any sort is never a good thing we will have much to say to one another. And if you also have good taste in music and it’s a mandatory not an optional thing in your life then I can’t wait to hear the new songs you share… This past year has been a difficult one for me- I’ve gained 60 lbs, my hormones went crazy and now I am finally feeling like myself again except for the weight which I am working to lose. It would be great to have a partner who is supportive and understanding and more importantly encouraging to me to continue to make healthy changes and develop a healthier lifestyle with me as a team effort.
