It is imperative that unless you know for certain something is as someone is saying, take everything with a grain of salt, because it's equally important to understand what aligns with your goals and values, and what doesn't. This is even moreso essential when it comes to seeking a spouse, who will be your companion in this life and the next. You may come across information that challenges your beliefs, like scientific research that contradicts religious beliefs. This is where critical thinking becomes crucial, but the foundation of emaan is imperative, for without a solid foundation, everything will crumble, authubillah.
