I think that mutual consent of families before marriage Akidah and Mahr amount instead of traditional dowry are very necessary topics to discuss beforehand. First of all, I intend to get to know and get along each other, and then make a joint decision with emphaty, insha'Allah khayr. If we're meant to be (naseeb), everything's going to flow easily no doubt. I intent to be with someone who live/work in my country, who has idea abt my language & culture well, but my priority is always someone who knows what he wants, also who meets my criteria & standards. Distance and ethnicity never matter for 2 hearts, as long as the necessary conditions are right. Making a person feel SPECIAL depends on someone's evidence & effort, I rely on this mindset sincerely. The key is Tawakkul! That's why I'm so excited to meet you my "qawwamah man". I believe in miracles, we'll find each other very soon insha' Allah!
