(I don't want to change how I see life) I understand that a Muslim woman must obey her husband. But I have a strong personality and I come from a different culture and lifestyle. My mother raised me to be independent and I was taught to be responsible for myself. I am willing to compromise, but if you are looking for a submissive and obedient partner. That is not me. That is also the same I feel about intimacy. I personally feel like I have the right to say no. But that's my opinion and not necessarily according to the Hadith.
