(Like a handyman) I can fix most things in the house and I can do woodworking too I can cook and bake a mean dish or two (If I'm in the mood) I consider myself to be a Braaimaster if you will (To cook meat on an open flame is an art) I can change a tire (My dad taught me) I'm a recent revert to Islam (Learning every second on this new found path) I love all animals (I have 3 cats) I'm independent and I work for what I want in life (I don't just expect things to happen) I'm a highly intellectual person and need constant intellectual stimulation or else its just tooboring for me (I have basically an encyclopedia in my head of useless stuff) Avid Marvel and Harry Potter fan (Marvel Universe only, Potterhead) Why am I here you ask? Well to find a like minded person, someone who enjoys deep intellectual conversations at 3am, someone who supports me with my passions and interests, someone to pick me up when I fall. Someone who will better me everyday. A few negative things about me I don't know my left from my right I'm terrified of spiders I am definitely not an optimistic person and would probably see things in a negative way. I'm a realist. I don't enjoy daytime and would rather 100% of the time be awake throughout the night I know I'm large in size and it's because I just love food sooo much I'm not really a family person (I love my mother and sister tho) I come from a not so supportive family that does not accept me following Islam My likes and dislikes I like watching series or movies Playing playstation Reading Writing And learning new things I dislike the outdoors People chewing with their mouth open Disrespect And people telling me I should change I am comfortable with who and what I am. (I don't want to change how I see life) I understand that a Muslim woman must obey her husband. But I have a strong personality and I come from a different culture and lifestyle. My mother raised me to be independent and I was taught to be responsible for myself. I am willing to compromise, but if you are looking for a submissive and obedient partner. That is not me. That is also the same I feel about intimacy. I personally feel like I have the right to say no. But that's my opinion and not necessarily according to the Hadith. Sheesh….Where do I even start. I’m a student, doing my final year…I do however plan to further my studies InSha Allah. I love literature, specifically poetry(yes I’m a poet). I love cooking and enjoy baking….pancakes are my specialty(so everyone says). I wouldn’t call myself an extrovert but I am very talkative (not loud). I enjoy good conversations, especially those pertaining things of Deen. I am a revert Alhamdulillah, just trying to navigate my newly found connection and trying to grow it as much as I can. Islam is very dear to me and literally my life revolves around being a Muslim.
