[4:34] Some of this verse: Ibn Kathīr (701 - 774 n.H.) said in his "Tafsīr Work": "The man is in charge of the woman and he is her leader, her great and the ruler/ruler over her if she should be crooked/deviated." Then he said: "And this because men are better than women, and men are better than women. Therefore, Prophethood was destined only to men, and the same applies to the rule, since he said to ﷺ: 'A people that uses a woman (as ruler) will not be successful.' handed down by Al-Bukhārī."
