Early on I would really prefer if we have a video call after a mutual pic swap if possible, as I found that chatting on here for long doesn’t really help getting to know one another. I am also very supportive if you would like a mahram present, and equally okay without one. The ideal scenario would be of course an in person meeting, which is the recommendation from the sunnah in the first place. Pics can be very deceiving and not representative of the real you. In this digital age of catfishing and ghosting, I would rather save us both time and energy, and if you are not okay with this, its understandable, then I wish you good luck in your search. The Boring Part Previously a registered Mental Health Nurse in the NHS (1999-2009). I self taught Tech repair since 2013, and today I have my own Tech business locally and online. I also have a second occupation, more of a passion, to be disclosed to the right person in due time. Alhamdulillah, since 10 Feb 2024, I am additionally a Business Consultant/Advisor/Strategist. Religiosity I try to practice my deen according to the Quran and authentic sunnah, but having come from a jahiliyah time I am also easy going and open minded with a non judgemental approach. My connection with the Creator of the world shouldn’t depend on my other half, although its a general view that your spouse completes your deen. Perhaps its more a physical completion, and it certainly helps to strengthen that connection; this could be an interesting conversation starter. Family I have 3 boys aged 21, 18, 16. The eldest no longer live with myself and my 2 boys. Together with my 2 sons, its pretty much an all boys' club and without the shadow of a doubt we could benefit from a feminine touch. Regardless of how able we are i maintaining our home relatively in working order, undoubtedly women are far more skilled and patient in household affairs. I have taught my sons enough about life and trained them to be independent, so its time that I find myself a wife, not a mother figure, although if you do offer it would be more than welcome. My parents and only sister live in my home country Mauritius. Here in the UK I have a few uncles and cousins from my fathers side whom I’m close with, and 1 uncle from my mother’s side. Hobbies. In my spare time I like to try new experiences with an adventurous philosophy, like travelling, exploring wild sceneries, outdoor cooking etc. Otherwise I love chilling at home with food and entertainment. Personality I have a very outgoing personality, never shying away from going up to a stranger and saying hi, this has opened my horizons so much and I’m grateful for that. I make friends very easily, but now I focus on the quality of my relationships rather than quantity. P.S: I have not visibly obvious life long health issue, non contagious, details of which I will share if we get serious.
