Careers Adviser working in  inner-city schools in Bradford. MSc Management (University of York), BSc (Hons) History & Politics (University of Bradford), Level &  Careers Guidance qualifications as well as honorary title due to national award šŸ˜€ If you beat me in a  Metre race then I'll pay for the holidays but If I beat you then I guess I'll still have to pay for the holidays! šŸ˜† My identity is Islam & national anthem is Shahadah - not into casts or nationalism! I've vowed to stay away from usury (interest) which Alhamdulillah I've been successful in doing. Alhamdulillah purchased my own home & insh'Allah will move into it when I get married - Insh'Allah want to keep the bond with my family just as I would want to treat my wife's family as my own family. In short, I live a debt free halal lifestyle - Alhamdulillah worked very hard to get to this stage. Bismillah! A man's duty is to dedicate his life to his faith, wife and children. I have a wide variety of interests such as my community roles for which I have Alhamdulillah received national awards, delivering humanitarian aid abroad on numerous occasions, serving the homeless, football coaching youngsters & so forth. I like to keep fit and have run several Marathons including running 10K Races in Ramadan for the last 8 years for charity (raised over Ā£400,000 single-handedly)! Some call me a 'Machine'! Age is Alhamdulillah just a number in my case as I physically look after myself. I have done Kickboxing in the past. In short, I like to use my spare time to help others however, I realise once married I will need to scaledown the above which I am prepared to do so. I am unashamedly a big fan (who isn't?) of the Turkish Serial Dirilis Ertugrul which depicts the life of the father of the Osmanli (Ottoman) Empire. Also watch Uyanis Buyuk Selcuklu - excellent Islamic ethos halal entertainment! I am quite shy when it comes to women hence why I have stayed single for so long! Some struggle to understand this due to my inner confidence when it comes to everything else. Alhamdulillah I've achieved many things in life, the next stage is marriage and becoming a family man insh'Allah :) I celebrate Mawlid (Milad) & commemorate Khatams & won't be giving it up for anyone! I like to regularly recite Salawat which brings me inner and outer happiness. In 2006 I performed Hajj which was a surreal experience and would love to do it again insh'Allah as a married man. For me doing Tawaf around the Holy Kaabah with your wife is the most romantic moment since Allah's mercy falls upon the Holy Kaabah and those within it's vicinity :) I am on here to sincerely complete half of my deen insh'Allah. I am my own man, in other words I will listen to what people say but will only take an action that is right for me and not for others. I adopt a consultative approach & that is how I Insh'Allah hope to approach married life by making a decision after consulting my wife since I believe that is what a true partnership is. Walking side by side to face whatever come may. All that is good in me is from Allah Ta'ala and my deficiencies are a result of my own weaknesses.

Education: Masters Degree
I'm a postgraduate student of Birmingham City University, UK and a proud Nigerian Muslim who places greater premium on family values and enjoys having family time a lot. My principle of life is: Family First and a manā€™s family starts with his wife and their kids not forgetting parents and parents in-law. After all, the Prophet (ŲµŁ„Ų¹Ł…) said: Ų®ŁŠŲ±ŁƒŁ…ŲŒ Ų®ŁŠŲ± Ł„Ų§Ł‡Ł„Ł‡ ā€œthe best among you is the best in character with his householdsā€ Honesty is a virtue I treasure tremendously while despising lies as a liar would have to lie a multiple times more to cover-up the initial falsehood. Iā€™m equally a devout Muslim whoā€™s conscious of his religious obligations with an above-basic Islamic knowledge and understanding to distinguish between peopleā€™s culture and Islamic culture having attended the Prestigious Arabic and Islamic Training Center, Lagos, Nigeria, for five years before moving on to study Electrical Engineering. An hadith of the Prophet said: Ł„Ł†Ų§ Ų¹ŲÆŲ§ŲŖ ŁˆŁ„ŲŗŁŠŲ±Ł†Ų§ Ų¹Ų§ŲÆŲ§ŲŖ "we (refering to the Arabs) have our own culture and others have their cultures too". My Islamic background however, makes it easy to identify where the line is drawn between culture and religion. The Qurā€™an says: ŁˆŲ§Ł† Ų¬Ų§Ł‡ŲÆŲ§Łƒ Ų¹Ł„ŁŠ Ų§Ł† ŲŖŲ“Ų±Łƒ ŲØŁŠ Ł…Ų§ Ł„ŁŠŲ³ Ł„Łƒ ŲØŁ‡ Ų¹Ł„Ł… ŁŁ„Ų§ ŲŖŲ·Ų¹Ł‡Ł…Ų§ ŁˆŲµŲ§ŲŲØŁ‡Ł…Ų§ ŁŁŠ Ų§Ł„ŲÆŁ†ŁŠŲ§ Ł…Ų¹Ų±ŁˆŁŲ§ "but if they compel you to ascribe or associate with me of which you have no knowledge or proof, then donā€™t obey them, but keep their company in this world with kindness" Ų³ŁˆŲ±Ų© Ł„Ł‚Ł…Ų§Ł† Ų§ŁŠŲ© Ł”Ł„ Culturally speaking, if a Nigerian dresses in his native attire, Agbada, and an Emirati from UAE puts on a Jalabia, they are both fulfilling their religious requirement of modesty in dressing while adhering to their cultural appeal and heritage. If a Canadian lady or an Ameeican or a British girl however, decides to adorn herself in an Arabian Abaya rather than a suit, it should be out of her own volition and willingness to do so and not a religious obligation as some Muslims around the world today would have us believe. All that being said, I'm a proud single father of 2 adorable children and they will forever be part of my life.
