I left the church at 10 years old, in the year 2000, it took me 21 years to realize that Allah had not abandoned me like they said. I took my first Shahada on 12/21/2021. Alhamdulillah. I took my official Shahada with Imam at the Masjid last November. I am grateful that Allah chose me to guide back into Islam. Until recently I was a musician and artist, I sacrificed music for Islam publicly on my birthday in September. Art for the most part, as well, but I will still draw. Now I am focused on learning to become fluent in Arabic. It is listed on my profile as "Islam - Sufi", as a revert I made the choice to just be "Muslim" although at my Masjid I have learned mostly from Hanafi. As far as Sufism goes, I am interested in it, but I wouldn't label myself as anything other than Muslim. Masha'Allah. Furthermore, I am not using a smartphone to call or communicate. There is a product on them called the "Magic Eraser" for image editing. The Magic Eraser uses an algorithm for edge detection of and object in the image to erase an unwanted object. The algorithm has no information on what should be behind the image, but it replaces what it thinks should be there. This is a corruption. Next, what do you think of the Book? In Islam it is said the Book changes, but the Qur'an does not change. The Qur'an does not change because it is memorized. People do not memorize the Book in its entirety. Indeed there is a missing Psalm in the Book; it is Psalm 69 about a sorcerer and a eunuch. I am against the war in Ukraine and I am for the territorial integrity and freedom of the Ukrainian people. Now about me, I am a worker of love who is a farmer in East Texas with sheep, goats and cattle. I have other business interests as well. I have lived in Texas for practically all of my life. There are few mosques around. I am educated and have a degree in Electrical Engineering, as well as knowing some Mathematics, Sciences and Computer Science. I enjoy reading, problem solving, cooking simple, good food, raising livestock, learning new languages. I am fairly proficient in Spanish and have started a little on other languages, but am always eager to learn. I have read and studied a translated version of the Qur'an, I have not studied Hadiths. I do not attend mosque. I plan on learning Arabic someday.
