One will invest as much time and effort into anything as the “why” behind it, how true and solid it is if any. That is what one seeks is a why, even in marriage, for the partner to be that rare breed, a “why” to face challenges and share the benefits of the journey. Getting closer to God with actions and knowledge and enriching one self with self development. What is my why? For the former, as I did not want to be a Muslim just because I was born one, I questioned everything seeking knowledge even in other faiths that brought me back to Islam, though I never left, maybe I’m half a revert, with unshakable conviction, Allhamdullah. As for the latter as we only take what we have inside us, then enrich ourself with knowledge and exposure to different realities is a must. Developing our character, including working on our weakness not just maximising on our strengths. Grasping as much as we can while striving to see more of the world and reaching financial freedom. As for age, to quote a fellow conservative, I will not make an issue of my future partner relative youth and inexperience.😉 (Current location: London-Milan) Between the Milanese upbringing & the Andalusian roots, will always have a connection with Italy and Spain. Though as a son of Adam no place will ever be home on this earth, my home is Adam’s home, Paradise in Sha Allah while enjoying personal growth.
