I'm from Southern California, born and raised. I used to work in health-tech but didn't enjoy it much, so I'm now trying to change directions by going to law school. My goals are to: 1. Become a university professor 2. Enjoy the spoils! I love everything sports, games, comedy, and avocados. I'm also trying to write a book (although its a painfully slow process); it's about how a lot of things I learned in neuroscience and biology about good brain function align with Islamic precepts. There are so many interesting correlations related to a halal diet, microbiomes, vagus nerve stimulation, namaaz (yoga+meditation), halal/haraam, sunnah, hygiene practices, Islamic-specific education, male and female brain differences etc., etc.- it's kind of insane, and to be honest, helps me not stray from faith. With respect to Islam, I try to do the basics and eschew the no-no's. I'm also semi-involved in my local jamaat. I think it'd be nice to find someone who enjoys a little bit of a lot of things, and doesn't mind the occasional game nights, banter, and Amir Khan classics :) Lastly, I know MBTIs aren't the most accurate personality tests, but I do find EN F/T P to be a pretty decent description of who I am; the literature says my ideal match would be someone in the IN F/T J domain. If you find this relevant (and relate), I think it'd be nice to chat and see where things go! Double lastly, I was raised Ismaili. It's not the biggest deal to me but I know it can be a deal-breaker for some... So... just want to be transparent... Danke!
