I took my official Shahada with Imam at the Masjid last November. I am grateful that Allah chose me to guide back into Islam. Until recently I was a musician and artist, I sacrificed music for Islam publicly on my birthday in September. Art for the most part, as well, but I will still draw. Now I am focused on learning to become fluent in Arabic. It is listed on my profile as "Islam - Sufi", as a revert I made the choice to just be "Muslim" although at my Masjid I have learned mostly from Hanafi.
