Imagine humans were blind... what would then be important and necessary when it comes to choosing your zawj? I love Allah but like most of us have been ignorant and often neglectful in my deen. i believe and understand that there will be an accounting for my deeds and an i am seeking allah's forgiveness and mercy with regard to my short comings. I was married once and the experience was a test, not only did I fail miserably but one that left me scarred and twisted emotionally and spiritually for nearly a decade. By Allah's mercy i am beginning to understand my mistakes and the test Allah gave to me little by little. I have come to realize that i am not strong enough by myself in this dunnah without the help of other mu'min beside me. Not sure if i deserve a wife or if i should even be seeking one.
