Allah says: "And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof." (Surah An-Nur 24:31) The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also emphasized modesty, saying: "Modesty is part of faith, and faith leads to Paradise." (Sahih Muslim) Additionally, he (peace be upon him) said: "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character."(Sahih Bukhari)
