"Never thought I'd find him, but I did - through this website"

One day I was complaining about still being single so my friend showed me this website. I thought no harm in checking it out, so had a browse through profiles, a few sounded quite promising... After making lots of du3a and using this site on and off for about 8 or 9 months, after finding lots of potentials but no one who seemed to fit, finally found my dream guy! At first I wasn't sure as he was soo far away with a 6 hour time difference, so we didn't talk very much at first. One day though he asked if we could set a proper time and we had a sort of internet date with our webcams and ended up talking all night (well, it was all night for me!). That's when I realised there was something special between us and we were planning to meet in August or December. However, the May half term came and I didn't want to wait until august so booked a last minute ticket and took my mum and my friend to meet him. He was waiting for me at the airport with some roses, one for each of us =) We all got on so well with him and I realised I was really starting to care about him a lot - he was handsome and romantic and his interest in Islam really inspired me. By the end of the week he proposed to me! We were orginally planning to get married in a year's time but we ended up having our nikah in England on August 5th. It was pretty quick but it felt right for both of us and well, love is always a risk! We're still living in seperate countries at the moment until we sort things out so we can be together, but I can wait, he's my dream guy (seriously, he can even dance! yay!). Never thought I'd find him, but I did - through this website. Alhamdulillah!! We're going to have our walimah next year inshaAllah. I'll definitely be recommending Muslima to all my single friends!

Thanks to Muslima I found my life partner inshaallah. Information on his profile helped me a lot to know him better and pictures are a help as well. So after I started talking with him here on Muslima we got to know each other better and better. Our first meeting was on the 24th of June 2009 and we are both just happy and glad. Falling in love with the right one is an undescribable feeling... Now both of our families are happy and accepted our relation. We are engaged and we are going to be married soon inshaallah. With the grace of Allah, dua from our parents and indeed sincere help of Muslima, I met this sister in April 2008. After thorough family inclusive communication, I had my nikah with Arie, a beautiful Muslimah by heart & soul, on May 15th in Jakarta.

Yes Allah says HE makes our soul mates in heavens, but we earthly creatures have to effort for that. I must admit that Muslima became our means. Thank you and Jazakum Allah to Muslima's team.

We have begun to walk side by side and hand in hand for a better & sweeter life. With new dreams, new hopes, new aspirations and a desire to achieve new horizons. We are stepping into a new life.

We, Rafique & Dayu finally together with the blessings of ALLAH Almighty on 29th of November 2008 and here we would like to share with you all our miraculous story:

I'm Dayu and initially I've subscribed to Muslima GOLD Membership from early January till Fifth of June 2008 and Rafique was not paying member actually.

I met Rafique on your website in April 2008. He dropped me a message in my inbox and what I did next was to thorough check about him through his Muslima profile. Joyless to see that his profile was incomplete and had NO picture attached.

Due to his incomplete profile, I've start thinking that Rafique is not serious and is he for real? But no harm giving him a chance right? That day when I got home I signed on to the site and respond to his message and that is when we get to know each other. Then we exchanged numbers. On 1st of May, for the very 1st time he called me and we talked all night. We hit it off from the very beginning. We shared stories of our lives, jokes, interests and we found out that we have so much in common.

We started communicating via email, phone and also short messaging service (SMS). Wow! He was so sweet and seemed so different much to good to be true, so we began talking and I realised he was real not fake on the site. I compiled all the short messaging text that I've sent & received from him from the 1st day we get to know. I've printed it out and turn it as a scrapbook.

We chatted openly and spoke of our innermost thoughts, ideas and dreams. After about 33 days, real love bloomed between us. We just talked about the important things in life; the things that make for lifelong happiness and everything progressed from there and fell into place. He knew what he wanted in life, had goals and I'm so glad we can now achieve them together.

By June 2008, we confessed to each other and from then on we had starting to make plans for our wedding. Just imagine we only have more or less about 4 months to do the preparation and we were darn busy, anxious and excited waiting for the BIG DAY! We had no time to date or hang out for movies EXCEPT for calls and SMS without fail every single day till the day we got married - 29th of November 2008.

He was simply a dream come true, to me this is the awesome website on the internet because I met my other half and the love of my life! But the one who made this all possible was Allah. Allah truly answers prayers. I truly am the happiest woman in the whole world and with him beside me I will forever stay that way. Thank you so much Allah and Muslima!!

We hope and pray that Allah continually bless our relationship as we've found a very special person to share the rest of the life with and complete the other half of our deen.
