Appreciate what you have. Try your best to spread happiness to others. I cherish my friends and family and the stability they give me. I have a very diverse past, some I'm proud of some I'm not. Just adhere to the "Golden Rule" and you'll be fine. I'm very self reliant and appreciate that trait in others. I have always been independent and don't like to feel smothered. I am an active person and like to keep busy. I would REALLY like a relationship that starts like a great friendship. I think you know early if you have some chemistry with someone. I think letting natural attraction work is essential as opposed to forcing it. I do live by the philosopy that you have to at least try to "get out there". You'll never find what you're looking for without some effort. I think it's best to have no expectations and see what happens. I am open to new opinions and new experiences. I'm willing to just see what happens. I really enjoy sports and enjoy inline skating, cycling, hiking, skiing, etc. You can actually meet some nice people. Whether you find you have chemistry or not, it's been good to meet different people. Be honest about yourself. I take an awful picture myself but still put a real face on my profile. It's a sad but true fact that a picture is the first impression on this site. No one wants to be suprised by an old picture or not even be able to recognize the person on a first meeting. Look at your pictures. A picture of dogs, food, a cactus or the top of your head doesn't really tell me much unless you are in the picture! I'm independent and spontaneous. I know we all have schedules but it would be nice to have someone to do things spontaneously on occasion. I don't think you can develop a relationship meeting once a week. Although for some people that is enough. I think there's a name for that...... *New* There are many kinds of people. All of us carry some baggage. Whether you are overly cautious or had a bad experience in life, I personally don't want my date to assume the worst of men. Think the movie "Minority Report".
