My favourite movie (lately) is "My Name is Khan" However, I am a huge fan of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, too.
"Lord of the Rings" (obviously), anything by Isaac Asimov, Stephen King, Nora Roberts (JD Robb), and of course JRR Tolkien.
I like most foods, but I'm particularly fond of seafood (being a true Nova Scotian). I also like Tex-Mex, Curried anything, and some Chinese & Italian dishes.
I like most music. I am a classically trained pianist and enjoy most everything except RAP, and hiphop.
I dress modestly, but at the same time with a 'western flair' (if that makes sense. I am carrying a few extra pounds, but they're in all the right places *wink* I've been told I'm attractive/pretty. Judge for yourself.
I have a somewhat off-beat sense of humour, tending to be a bit ascerbic perhaps even sarcastic at times.
Of course the obvious are music and movies, but I also enjoy counted cross-stitch (so very ladylike, so very unlike me LOL), collecting picture postcards and porcelain dolls and my new passion TY beanies.
I have travelled extensively in Eastern Canada (from Newfoundland to Ontario and everywhere in between), north eastern USA (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont & New York) and I have had the opportunity to travel to St Pierre et Miquelon, France which was really fantastic!
I think I am very adaptable, however, it takes two to make a relationship work!
Hmmm...probably at home...cook a nice dinner served by candlelight followed by a couple of romantic movies while cuddling on the couch. :-) Of course there's always the possibiity of dinner out, perhaps at an ethnic restaurant, followed by walking along the boardwalk (or beach) under the stars and ending with a quiet evening at a unique bed & breakfast.
I'm quiet, and although I'm outgoing, I'm still a bit shy at the same time.
My perfect match will be honest, considerate, moderately religious (not fanatical), like to eat (and maybe even cook occasionally), patient, and willing to compromise.
