Assalamu Alaikum! Here are some things you might be interested in knowing about me: First and foremost, I converted to Islam 6 years ago. I have reached a point where my understanding of Islam, along with my own heritage/ background etc have reached a happy medium. I'm not by any means perfect, but I believe in the values of Islam, and I believe that they are central to a happy and healthy life and family. I'm a working professional and a college student-I'm mature enough to live a pretty responsible life, but still too young to decide what I want to be when I grow up. However, I do know that being a wife and mother is on the agenda. For the most part I am a very active and busy girl. I like to smile laugh and enjoy my time on this earth, I believe that healthiness equals happiness, I believe in taking care of myself physically and emotionally, and I believe in taking care of those who I love. I like to try new things, and have been told that I'm a bit of a chameleon. This means that if you can introduce me to a new idea, country, culture, activity, or even something as simple as new foods, we will get along smashingly. I dont like apathy. I believe in social consciousness, and that we all have at least a little responsibility to the greater good outside our own wants and desires. I love the people in my life. I love my friends, I love my family, and I respect everybody. I'm very open-minded and relaxed, which means that I can get along with almost anybody, emphasis on the almost. I like catching a good movie, seeing a sporting event, having a good conversation, indulging in an amazing book, taking a walk outside, meandering around a museum. My friends would probably describe me as loyal, sarcastic, a bit bubbly, intelligent, and kind. I would describe myself as being an eternal optimist, a little nit-picky, motivated, and sugary sweet. As far as my match goes, I am looking for someone who I can have an intelligent conversation with, but who I can also be so comfortable with that it wouldnt even matter if we were sitting in silence. He should be smart, witty, family-oriented, adventurous, up for anything at anytime (spontaneous drives to the beach at 3 am?), driven, but most importantly kind, respectful, tolerant, and someone who strives to live his life with Islam as his guide. Looks arent everything. I'm not perfect, and I dont expect you to be, but we should be mutually attracted to each other. Thats my attempt at a brief introduction of myself.
